Since 1987 Dr. Reikie has devoted himself to the speciality of aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Following graduation from dental school at the University of Alberta he completed a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics at the world-renowned University of Texas Health Sciences Center. Dr. Reikie is an active member of and frequent lecturer to numerous provincial, national and international prosthodontic organizations. He is also the past president of the Calgary Dental Society, the Alberta Academy of Prosthodontists, and the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada.
In addition to practicing the specialty of prosthodontics, Dr. Reikie has performed research and authored numerous publications contributing to the field of prosthodontics. His special interest in dental implants and cosmetic smile enhancement is reflected in the fact that he is frequently invited to present lectures and seminars for dental audiences around the world.
This ongoing involvement with dental education and research enables Dr. Reikie to identify and evaluate new dental techniques which serve to benefit his patients.
